it is good if you can eat and not get fat.. to get rid of the belly or paunch, better abdominal exercise: like sit ups, turn side to side...

if you have big appetite and you eat too much and never get fat then your metabolism is fast
"Fast" metabolism is due to several things, but primarily the most interesting cause is
1-HYPERTHYROIDISM your thyroid gland is producing excess thyroxine. The Hypothalamus gland is responsible for the feed back loop that sends hormones to the pituitary gland and in turn the pituitary sends TSH hormone to the thyroid causing it to make more or less of the T3 and T4 hormones that regulate your metabolism.
2-Exercise can also reeve up the metabolism a little because it stimulates your body in many ways.
3-Drugs can speed up your metabolism, but in a very negative way while damaging many organs in your body.
4-Stress can have a very negative effect on your body that will cause too much cortisol to be produced in your adrenal glands that will give you the feeling of being "hyped up," as will too much glucose from to many carbs.
SO i advise you check your thyroid gland especially if you have a family history of thyroid dysfunction, and other symptoms
as for the paunch stomach try exercising walking every day for 1hr ,dont eat and sleep ,dont eat junk food ,eat balanced diet ,fat belly is more due to the
irregular eating habits
SO, change your eating habits ,excercise,go to the doctor to check your thyroid gland and check the thyroid hormone level for possible hyperthyroidism
