Had an hiv test in a nonprofit organization, he poked my fing with a small needle & put some blood on test. He didnt use a new one he only wiped it with alcool(needle. Is it safe. Can i be infected?
I highly suspect that the healthcare worker who withdrew the blood utilized a used needle to prick your finger - this is a huge error and I strongly doubt that any professional healthcare worker would deliberately commit such an act.
The more plausible and more likely explanation is that he wiped a new needle as an extra cleansing or disinfection step.
