That is acceptable as long as your blood pressure is below 180 systolic (first number) and below 100 diastolic (second number) at the time of donation.
Medications for high blood pressure also do not disqualify you from donating , but you must be aware of blood pressure drop ,since any decrease of volume within your arteriovascular system will decrease the pressure
So you must inform them of being hypertensive ,and you may don't take your medication at that day ask your doctor ,this depends on your controlled levels and status at that time and the cause of your high blood pressure.
In your case let me tell you something to get it asked to your doctor the doctor following your dose and blood pressure and who prescribed you cozar ,tell your doctor about your blood tests results it is important ,the doctor may look if your blood pressure raised because of your high heamoglobin count and then when decreasing your heamoglobin count you may have a stable blood pressure AGAIN ask your doctor first he know your case .
An increased hemoglobin level elevates blood pressure.
So it may be beneficial in this case donating blood for blood pressure and haemoglobin count you will have drop in both ,and this may be your treatment for both if the cause of hypertendion the Hb being high always .ASK and CHECK with your doctor for this issue if it suits your case .
well ,of course it is advisable you quit argilli and cigar they harm your blood pressure and blood count and reduce oxygen in your blood causing the symptoms to worsen
