Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Monitoring the blood cells counts is the best way we know of to keep any side effects of colchicine under control. And Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) is a chronic disease, so lifetime treatment is usually required, with the dosing gauged according to the patient's response to the medication.
