Alright. So in other words, the symptoms are induced by pressure. Now, as long as there is nothing visible on the fingers (skin is chapped, red, the joints are swollen and/or red) and no other parts of your body are involved, you will need a thorough neurological evaluation (a full neurologic exam will assess your sense of touch, muscle tone and power). It could be simple tendinitis (inflammation of the tendon sheath that surrounds the bones of the fingers), carpal tunnel syndrome (in which the tendon sheath that makes up part of the wrist joint gets inflamed and becomes tight, thus compressing the nerves that run through it and producing pain and numbness). I recommend that you book an appointment with a neurologist to have all your nerves checked on physical examination, and maybe get a tracing of the muscle function (electromyogram EMG) or other tests like brain imaging to fully elucidate the underlying cause ofyour ssymptoms.

Repetitive Strain Injury is an injury due to repetitive action done ,it may affect any part of body including fingers ,You may wonder how seemingly innocuous activities such as typing and clicking a mouse button could possibly be harmful. Fine hand movements, repeated hour after hour, day after day, thousands upon thousands of times, eventually strain the muscles and tendons of the forearms, wrists, and fingers, causing microscopic tears. Injured muscles tend to contract, decreasing the range of motion necessary for stress free work. The sheaths that cover delicate tendons run out of lubrication because they aren't given time to rest, so tendon and sheath chafe, resulting in pain. Due to this abrasion, tendons become inflamed, and begin to pinch neighboring nerves. This can result in numbness, tingling, or hypersensitivity to touch. Unless this cycle is interrupted, it repeats itself over and over, and a long-term, chronic problem results.
The primary warning sign of RSI is pain in the upper extremities (fingers, palms, wrists, forearms, shoulders). The pain may be burning, aching, or shooting. It could be local (e.g., fingertips) or diffuse (e.g., the entire forearm). The pain will typically be increased after a long session of computer use
to heal this you need to limit your typing activities for less time ,first rest then when going back to typing limit your typing activities and try to find alternatives such as microphone instead of typing ,you can do certain exercises and stretching and rest and deviding your typing activities to intervals of time .
this happened overtime and it would go overtime if the cause is eliminated
