I will try to answer your question but 1st I need to inquire more about this pain. How does it feel like? (stinging? Lancinating? Pinprick like? Burning?) is it localized or does it radiate up to the hand or wrist? Is it associated with other abnormal sensation like tingling or numbness, or other impairment like inability to fully use the fingers - weakness - or inability to perform tasks requiring fine finger movements? Does it go away when you don't use your fingers? Any other area in the body with similar symptoms? Any other problems you have? And if you could think of anything that might have triggered this problem or that you can associate with? Thank you.
