I know it is hard to do it but you should try not to respond to her calls everytime she cries because you will end up having lack of sleep and later on it will be hard to change the habit your daughter got. If there is something that makes her afraid, try to reassure her. Explain for her that she is now a big girl and needs to sleep alone and you can do this using stories of a cartoon caracter that she likes. If it didnt work you can try also to put a tent in your room and she sleeps in this tent. This will reassure her that she is next to you but at the same time she will learn that there is some privacy and her small tent is her private room and your room is your privacy. It is hard to hear your child crying and not respond but you should always look forward and kids are so manipulative but also they can adapt fast...so you and the dad are the chiefs at home!!!
