I'm having trouble sleeping at night and it's been a while during the day I'm feeling tired and seeing black point for a second.

Check if you're taking any medication that may cause sleep disturbances. Try to follow a healthy sleep pattern (not to sleep a lot during the day), not to eat, or drink caffeinated beverages before sleeping. Also, avoid alcohol, long stay in front of TV, computers or smart phones. Finally, it's better to seek the medical advice of an ophthalmologist.
