How can we treat an arm tendonitis with calcification? Other than the cortisone shot?
Mar 16, 2014

Dr. Ziad Tannous Orthopedic Surgery
Calcific tendinitis treatment can be difficult to treat , while most calcifications remain not painful and could resolve on their own , symptomatic ones ( painful ones ) can be treated with corticosteroid shots , extracorporeal shock wave therapy ( similiar to the one used in kidney stones ) massive calcifications could be excised surgically !
