How can i make it better??
Jan 19, 2016

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
First of all, the underlying cause needs to be identified. If you have adenoids or large tonsils, you need to consult an ear-nose-throat (ENT) specialist. Usually, you are given a trial of medications (oral tablets and nasal spray) for a couple of months: if you improve then this may preclude the need for more invasive measures, otherwise, surgery may be required.
If you are obese, the obvious next step is to lose weight.
Other possibilities that are less likely include anemia (low hemoglobin/hematocrit on complete blood count test), or hypothyroidism (poor thyroid gland function).
In any case, I offered possible explanations for your symptoms - I did not make any diagnosis. You need to be seen and examined by a physician for proper evaluation and management.
