Dear drs i have recieved my blood test my mvc mch rdw neutrophils are low (73.5,22.6,30.9,46.3)esr 1st h (22)2nd hr (40) while my serum iron is 0,71 and my ferritine is 38,62 . do i have anemia ? thx

to know if you have anemia we need your hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. as for the iron/ferritin(the storage form of iron) we need to know the unit the lab is reporting in.
MCV which means Mean Corpuscular Volume it reflects the shape of the Red Blood Cells, if it is low it usually low iron or thalassemia trait.
MCH means Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin which reflects the amount of hemoglobin in the RBC
RDW means RBC Distribution Width. (the width of RBC is plotted on a graph and its width is reported, which means the variability of shapes of RBC,
ferritin is the storage form of iron
if the Hemoglobin/hematocrit are also low then there is iron deficiency anemia. if not then you need to be careful about developing in the future anemia.
