Some birth control pills have been pulled from the market in other countries over DVT concerns. Should I be worried about taking Yasmin?

I forgot to take Yasmin (for a treatment) on the 5th day and took later at night. What should I do now? In case it happens again, how can I avoid the risk to have my period twice during the same month

I've been on Yasmin for 3 years, and just stopped it last month; however i've noticed a weight gain especially on the waist... can it be due to that? how can i get rid of it? do i go back to the pill?

- It is unlikely that it is due to stopping the Yasmin , on the contrary patients get some extra kilos when on pills..
