Zapex is an anxiolytic (anti anxiety drug) from the family of benzodiazepines. It possesses anxiolytic and sedative effects, in addition to anti-convulsant (against convulsions or seizures) and central muscle relaxant activity.
Indication: For the treatment of anxiety disorders and alcohol withdrawal.
Because it induces sedation and muscle relaxation, it is not safe to administer Zapex during the day, especially if you drive or operate machinery. You are therefore advised to only take it before bedtime and never along with, shortly before, or shortly after alcoholic beverages
