Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Wait out and monitor her temperature. In case she develops any fever (more than 38 degrees Celsius rectally), she must be seen by her doctor immediately. Also check her stools for any intermixed blood or mucus, if you notice any, you should have those sent for analysis and culture tomorrow morning to rule out an infection. If no infection is detected, then it could be cow's milk protein allergy, and you will need to shift to an hypo-allergenic (HA) formula. I know this may seem too complicated but babies' guts go through these disturbances early on and then they outgrow them.
