What is the best pain medicine for fibromyalgia non streiodal
Sep 2, 2014

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
The choice of pain killers for controlling fibromyalgia symptoms is patient-specific; that is to say, there is no one best treatment. For each patient, the rate and extent of response to therapy is different. It is therefore a matter of attempting the use of a drug, testing how effective it would be, then deciding if this is the most suitable choice of therapy for you.
Pain killers commonly used in fibromyalgia include not only non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen, but also acetaminophen (Tylenol, Panadol), naproxen sodium, and prescription pain relievers such as tramadol (Tramal).
