There are foods that make you feel full for some time, thus abolishing the feeling of hunger soon after a meal, and these are fiber-rich foods like vegetables, whole wheat baked goods (bread and others), dried fruits (consume those carefully as they are also loaded with sugar), and protein-rich foods as well enhance the feeling of satiety. Also make sure you drink enough water when eating fiber-containing foods as fibers easily take up the water which will allow their volume to increase in the stomach, thereby making you feel full.
