first you and your husband must do a full workout of your infertility with your gynecologist to know what is the best way to go and which treatment is best indicated for you.
If IVF is indicated, the chances of pregnancy are around 35% per trial.
The best embryo are selected and replaced in the uterus so the risk of abnormalities isn't more elevated than a normal pregnancy; thus, the follow-up of the pregnancy is the same as a spontaneous pregnancy.
The risk of IVF is ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, which is due to the treatment given to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple "eggs". That's why the ovarian stimulation must be closely monitered by your gynecologist.
There is no treatment to increase success rate.
Most importantly, you must be a right candidate to IVF
