Dr. Karim Farah Pulmonology
you might be experiencing migraine headache with preceding symptoms called prodromal symptoms (your blurring of vision) migraine headaches is usually a unilateral throbbing headache that lasts from hours up to few days with phono/photophobia (ie disturbance from noise and light) associated with nausea and sometimes vomiting.
there are two types of treatment:
-prophylactic therapy which is a medication you take daily to prevent the severity and frequency of the attacks which include beta blockers or tricyclics, antidepressants...
-ablation therapy that means medications that you take during the prodromal symptoms to decrease the severity of the attack.
