As we have agreed before, introduce a new food item every 3 days, one item at a time.
Days 1-2-3: Rice cereal mixed with milk to form a fluid consistency: try 1 tablespoon of for the first few feedings.
Days 4-5-6-7: boiled mashed carrot: try 1 tablespoon of for the first few feedings.
WEEK 2
Continue with feeding small amounts; your baby will still be getting used to solid foods. During this week, you may want to introduce new items, like squash, or potato, or banana.
WEEK 3
Continue feeding small amounts. Try increasing those amounts if your baby seems to take the smaller amounts well.
WEEK 4
Baby may be on a wider variety of foods now. Try mixing those acceptable foods, like rice and carrots, boiled and mashed into a puree, or banana and apple.
WEEK 5
Offer these foods for 3 or 4 days then move to another food.
And don't abruptly reduce the amount of breast milk or formula milk (kindly refer to the answer to your previous question for the amounts of milk required).
