The ovulation test works by detecting a rise in luteinizing hormone (LH) in the urine. Such a rise, or surge, signals the ovary to release the egg. This at-home test is often used by women to help predict ovulation.
A positive opk test result indicates an "LH surge(luteinizing hormone surge)" and is a sign that ovulation may soon occur. you would have intercourse that day and every day for three days to help increase your chances of conception
note :LH surge causes the egg to burst through the ovary wall within 24-36 hrs but this varies from women to women and the duration of cycle for each women
