Pouquoi j'ai des batements de coeur rapides
Feb 8, 2015

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
The most common causes of tachycardia (rapid heart rate) are dehydration, anemia, hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid gland) or stress. You need a more thorough evaluation at the doctor's office including history of hereditary anemias thyroid gland disease and heart disease in the family, relation of your symptoms to physical activity and stress, in addition to a full physical examination with focus on heart exam, and a panel of basic tests including a complete blood count, thyroid function tests (if deemed necessary since thyroid gland disease is not so common in males), and an electrocardiogram.
