My partner is infected, we know because he has warts. I still did not tested but should we both get the HPV vaccine in any case? Or if I've already caught it from him there is no point anymore?

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
You should test for it, and both of you have to receive the vaccine because the infection your partner have and which you may have will be caused by one strain of the virus, whereas the vaccine works against 4 strains (the ones known to be the most implicated in causing cervical cancer in women). That is to say, the virus strain that is responsible for the infection might not be the same as the ones that the vaccine targets.
