My lips suddenly get swollen due to a dust mite allergy, what can I do to reduce the swelling?
Oct 9, 2015

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
When an allergic reaction cause swelling of any part of the face, and especially the mouth and lips, this is worrisome because it may progress and affect the windpipe, so the breathing may get compromised. I advise you to seek the medical opinion of an allergy specialist. You may need to be maintained on anti allergic medications.
