Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
It is not uncommon for toddlers to develop certain unexplainable behaviors during this period of their lives. As long as their overall growth and development, in terms of motor and neurological development, are within the normal range for their age, and they do not show signs of developmental delay, such behaviors should not be the source of concern. If however you notice abnormal behaviors such as repetitive movement of the head or hands, and poor eye contact, then bringing up these concerns to your child's pediatrician would be advisable.
