My 2.5 years old boy doesn't let me touch his toes, and I discovered there are little cracks between them. What could it be and what to do about it? Thank you!

Dr. Dina Helou Pediatrics
Little cracks between the toes can be due to a cutaneous mycosis (fungal infection) which commonly affects children before puberty, and can be contagious.
Keeping the skin clean and dry will help prevent mycosis, but in all cases your pediatrician can give you appropriate treatment for your child if indicated.
