Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Taking antibiotics is generally associated with a risk of contracting fungal infections or other bacterial infections. But when opting for starting a treatment, the pros and cons are weighed against each other. I'm sure that the reason for taking Tolexine (doxycycline) outweighs the risk of getting a fungal infection. So what you ought to do is watch out for symptoms of vaginal cabdidiasis (yeast infection of the vagina) and take Diflucan if you develop them.
