Is varicocele a serious condition, especially in teenagers? Will a surgical procedure cure a person of varicocele?
Aug 14, 2015
Varicocele is a reflux of blood in the veins down back to the veins near the testis.
It is not a serious condition, and doesn't even need to be treated unless medically indicated (infertility, or decrease size of the testis in adolescents).
