Spasfon is a drug that belongs to the class known as anti spasmodic. It works by reducing muscle contractions which are known to cause pain in the stomach, intestines, and womb (uterus). We usually give it to relieve menstrual cramps caused by contractions of the muscles of the womb. It has no effect on the duration of bleeding.
