I i just had my scan and they said my left ovary is bulky and is 51 mm in axis and seen few follicles. and i have some free fluid in my POD. The doctor didn't give any medicines except for duphaston
scan by itself usually more important to be read beside the symptoms you complain of .Bulky ovaries usually a sign of Polycystic ovarian disease(PCOS). the stromal thickness increases giving the ovaries a bulky size. Well, the scan also mentions that there are few follicles,follicles are the ones which develop into eggs.
your doctor might prescribe you duphaston to regulate your period ,usually an irregular period a symptom of PCOS
