There might be many causes for the symptom you are complaining of ,however one of the side effects of contraceptive pills in some women is low sex drive or low lipido ,if this is the cause you can use another contraception if possible like using intra uterine device -IUD
on the other hand low lipido can be caused by different causes depending on other symptoms you complain of like :
>if you experience pain during sex or an inability to orgasm, it can hamper your desire for sex.
>Numerous nonsexual diseases can also affect desire for sex, including arthritis, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease and neurological diseases.
>Many prescription medications ,including some antidepressants and anti-seizure medications ,are notorious libido killers, contraceptive pills ,check your medications
>Alcohol
> Any surgery related to your breasts or your genital tract can affect your body image, sexual function and desire for sex.
>the exhaustion of caring for aging parents or young children can contribute to low sex drive
>anxiety or depression
>Stress, such as financial stress or work stress
>Poor body image
>Low self-esteem
>Poor communication of sexual needs and preferences
>Lack of connection with your partner
>History of physical or sexual abuse
To figure out the cause you can check with your doctor ,if the cause is the pill or other cause such as thinning of your genital tissues, vaginal dryness or pain-triggering spots. he may order blood tests may check for evidence of thyroid problems, diabetes, high cholesterol and liver disorders.
if the problem is with your partner you can check with a specialized counselor or sex therapist may be able to better evaluate emotional and relationship factors that can cause low sex drive
so the doctor will evaluate your condition and treat depending on the cause .
