in fact grinding can harm your teeth and the muscles involved in the movement of your jaw. With time your teeth will become flat on their surface, more sensitive and your muscles will suffer from contraction or spasms. Please note that these problems could lead also to ear pain, headache, neck pain, difficulty in chewing etc... Normally the solution is to wear a night guard, but since you grind also during the day, it's better if you wear it also during day time.
