How does gargling with warm water and salt help a throat infection?
Feb 6, 2014

Dr. Elie Salem Pediatrics
It doesnt help at all, no studies revealed that gargling with warm water and salt can prevent an infection
Dr. Rita Mouawie Dentistry
It really doesn't.

Warm water-salt is recommended for patients sometimes with a scar in the gums or after a small surgery to accelerate blood flow and consequently the healing process... however in throat infection it has absolutely no use
