There are 2ways
Either the progesterone only medication that you take in the second half of your cycle, and you continue like for 20days at most,
Or
The combined estrogen-progesterone pills that you take in the beginning of your periods, and yo don't stop for 7days to have your periods but you continue on the pills..
Needless to say that you should not have any contra-indication for these medications to take them ( hypertension, smoking, breast cancer, history of thrombosis....)
