Hi Drs, this is my 4th day on med (COZAAR 50 mg) for hypertension. I still see no results. How much time is needed to see first results? Thank you

It takes about 1-2 weeks for the full effect to show. If after that your BP remains high , then adding a diuretic and / or going up on the Cozaar will be needed. Limiting salt in your diet, losing weight and exercising will also help.
