Hi Drs. I had a normal flue that lasted a week and disappeared for a couple of days. then had a stronger one after 2 days and mild fever. should I take antibiotic or leave it alone?
What do you mean by stronger? Unless you have high grade fever and dark yellow or greenish sputum then you don't need antibiotics. Most probably u had another viral infection and both are self resolving. Just symptomatic therapy is enough. If it persists then you should be seen by a physician to examine you and maybe order a chest xray.
