Bags under the eyes can be hereditary, especially if you've had them since childhood. Factors that exacerbate them are fluid retention (due to hot humid weather, or eating salty foods especially before going to bed), allergies (allergic rhinitis/rhinosinusitis, which are allergies of the nose and sinuses, and these are accompanied by itchiness, redness and sneezing), poor sleep, and less commonly, chronic kidney disease (hereyyou'd have protein in the urine and elevatedblood ppressure) or thyroid disease (where you'd notice an enlarged thyroid gland).
If you're not sure about having allergies, thyroid or kidney problems, have yourselfcchecked for those. If all turns out negative, then it's most likely an inherited trait and needs cosmetic intervention (plastic surgery).
