We can't measure or tell how many percentage of the body water is lost if a person don;t drink water for 24 hrs ,there are several factors that influence this ,it is not only a matter of how much to take water per day to stabilize your water inside your body but it is other factors may influence too ,prespiration ,food intake and what it contains of water ,body mass and weight ,intake of fruits and vegetables which are rich in water ,how much a person is sweating and this is unique for every person ,......
but i can tell that when a person starts to feel that his peeing is less ,his tongue is dry ,he has dry eyes and skin and not concentrating well then the water body percentile is decreasing .
At least 60% of the adult body is made of it and every living cell in the body needs it to keep functioning. Water acts as a lubricant for our joints, regulates our body temperature through sweating and respiration, and helps to flush waste..The maximum time an individual can go without water seems to be a week
three to four days would be more typical.
I can tell that the dehydration that causes "a loss of more than 10% of your body weight is a medical emergency.
