Motilium is indicated in children for cases of reflux (gastro-esophageal reflux) and to help reduce nausea and vomiting. It's a relatively safe drug with few and rather rare adverse effects. So it can be used as long as the child has symptoms of reflux or nasuea/vomiting, unless the child develops adverse effects to it, be it an allergic reaction or others, in which case it must be discontinued and a physician consulted immediately.
