Hello, am 35 years, had fibroid removed 5 years ago. I got pregnant 3 months ago but unfortunately it was a blighted ovum. Now my doctor is asking for an hysteroscopy. Shall I go for it? Thank you
A spontaneous abortion or a blighted ovum are not a reason for hysteroscopy unless there is a possibility of retained trophoblast.
In that case ultrasound will help and hysteroscopy will be useful.
