Do you recommend Breast Thermography instead of Mammography for breasts because it is less risky since it doesn't contain radiation. Is it effective in determining breast cancer as the mammography.

Dr. Julien Lahoud Obstetrics & Gynecology
Thermography is not very specific as an exam. It has a high rate if false negative and false positive.
The gold standard still is mammography and ultrasound.
Biopsy will confirm diagnosis.
As for radiation risk, mammography is indicated once a year after 45.
The advantage in screening a malignant disease is more than the risk of radiation
