in the french medical school system you have a minimum of 7 years to get your M.D , of these 7 years ( the first is spent in a common pool first year Biology or BC if in the lebanese university ), the 6th and 7th year are spent in the hospital as internship , after which you apply for the residency position ( exam vs interview ! ) et Voilà !!
